Place Rwanda - Ndahei
Community Project Name Kigali Kids Club
Project Location Rwanda
Project Description Once a week, the Iris Ndahei Center in Rwanda hosts a weekly kids club for the local children in their community. They provide a warm meal, Bibles, art supplies, and additional resources for families. The program serves the most underprivileged children in their community and is a safe place for children living on the streets to come and receive care and attention. They hope to open a Children's Center where they can care for orphaned children in their community soon. The Kigali Kids Club provides children with a place to receive love and physical care while allowing them to just be kids and play! They focus on teaching empathy for others, responsibility, and Biblical foundations. They also provide trauma care and counseling as needed. Above all, they give children the opportunity to know Jesus and receive His life-transforming love! The goal of the Kigali Children's Center is to see those who have been abandoned in a country with a traumatic history brought into a family. We know it is Gods heart to see these children lifted to maturity in a safe place where they will grow to become self-sustaining adults, empowered to impact others for Jesus and transform generations to come.
