This year the 2nd grade has 4 classes! One of the main goals for this year is to teach students to read and write. Children in public schools are required to purchase all of their own school supplies and many cannot afford the supplies needed. Our students are provided with school supplies for no charge! Every student receives a book and school supplies which includes two notebooks and one pencil. Students from 1st and 2nd grade also receive clothes for Physical Education classes. 2nd Grade is a very exciting time as these students are no longer the youngest in the school!
